To take place September 10-12 at the at the Suburban Collection Showplace in Novi, Mich., The Battery Show is North America’s largest and most comprehensive advanced battery manufacturing trade show. Exhibiting in booth #2929, Wallner Expac will introduce and showcase its new precision engineered MicroForm® expanded metal specifically for use in advanced battery technologies as the support structure for the electrically active material. Additional uses for MicroForm® include EMI/RFI shielding, microfiltration, speaker grilles, window and door screens, and more.
Manufactured in Wallner Expac’s climate-controlled environment to control precision specifications, MicroForm® can be manufactured into light- and heavy-gauge variants using common and exotic metals. Tight tolerances allow production capabilities to expand the LWDs from 0.125” down to 0.050” using materials with a minimum thickness of 0.002”. Post-production services include flattening, slitting, cut-to-length, stamping and more.
