ONTARIO, Calif. – November 01, 2018 – Air Media Magazine, the official publication of the National Air Filtration Association featured Timmy Timbs, Director of Sales, Wallner Expac for its Fall 2018 Executive Profile.
Nominated by members and subsequently elected to the NAFA Board of Directors for the Northeast Region in September, Timbs, shares how he was introduced to the filtration industry: “After graduating from high school, I started to work for a filter company in Memphis and worked my way up through the company– from equipment maintenance, to purchasing, and eventually I was named plant manager,” says Timbs. “Those experiences have given me many opportunities to share my knowledge with others, including Wallner Expac where I have been the Director of Sales for eight years.
Mariana Orozco, President, Wallner Expac adds, “We are proud of Timmy and fortunate to have him as a valued member of our organization. His industry knowledge and experience has been a vital addition to Wallner Expac, NAFA and the filter Industry as a whole. As a member of the Board of Directors and a Certified Air Filter Specialist, he assists in reviewing all activities within NAFA and supporting the association to further enhance the filtration industry.”
Additional responsibilities include reviewing the membership report and committee updates; supplying information for the NAFA guidelines; revisions to policy, procedure, and bylaws; and recommending future seminars and conventions. Timbs adds, “Keeping up with the changes in the industry is easier when you’re associated with organizations such as NAFA.”
